It hasn’t had its first release yet. Installers will be published on the releases page and linked here.

System requirements

Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
Audio
An audio interface with an ASIO driver is recommended. Windows Audio (WASAPI) works too, including with a computer’s built-in sound.
Plugins
Optional. Northlight comes with its own instruments and effects, and runs VST3 and CLAP plugins when you have them.
Build it yourself
Section titled “Build it yourself”The source is on GitHub. Building needs Visual Studio 2022 or later with the “Desktop development with C++” workload, and Git. Visual Studio Community is free for individuals and open source work. The repository’s README has the steps, including how to enable ASIO.
